About MTankCo Supply

MTankCo Supply, LLC is an equipment distributor in the LP gas industry.  We concentrate on offering our customers options when it comes to propane equipment.  With a large assortment of products and the knowledge to support our customers we strive to be your dedicated distributor in the LP gas industry.

Our mission is to provide the leadership to help advance the propane industry, the commitment to provide the best products and services available, and the integrity to be a responsible and ethical industry leader.

MTankCo has been distributing propane equipment and heaters for over 50 years and has always been customer oriented.  We first started as McCarson Wholesale Supply in the late 1950’s out of a small building behind Mr. McCarson’s house in Walls, MS.  In April of 1981, Mr. McCarson decided to pass his legacy onto Minor and Terry Smith and operated out of the same small building in Walls, MS as Smith’s LP Supply Company.  The expansion of Smith’s LP Supply Company was inevitable and in 1984 we strategically purchased a larger facility in Southaven, MS where it operates today.  More recently in June 2013, Mississippi Tank Company acquired Smith’s LP to create MTankCo.  The creation of MTankCo will allow existing and new customers to receive the same quality service while offering the ability to choose from an expanding equipment line.

Mississippi Tank Company lends over 65 years of experience in the propane gas industry as well as other compressed gases.  They have been manufacturing tanks for trucks, transports, and storage facilities since the early 1950’s and offering services such as tests, inspections, and repairs.  Mississippi Tank Company is the largest manufacturer of transports in the US and has continued to expand its Hattiesburg, MS and Vincennes, IN facilities to best serve their growing base of customers.  The combined experience of Mississippi Tank Company and MTankCo Supply will allow our customers to have not only an array of products to choose from, but to have great service to assist them in their LP gas equipment needs.
